Founder of Devdopz • Turning failure into direction
Abdul Ahad
Founder, Devdopz
Out of 240 students who wrote the 10th board exam, 239 passed. One failed — that student was me. I failed mathematics, not because I was incapable, but because I had stopped attending school after 8th grade when COVID changed everything. Fear of going outside, anxiety, and isolation kept me at home for almost two years.
My teachers, headmaster, and family encouraged me and stood by me during my second-chance (supply) exam for the subject I had failed. Their belief in me pushed me to face the exam again — and this time I passed. But instead of returning to regular school, I chose a different path. I opened my laptop and began teaching myself game development, web design, and programming on my own.
Ironically, I was my school’s IT coordinator from 7th to 10th grade. On the day of the IT exam, I completed the paper in under 10 minutes and walked out of the lab while others who once ignored me were asking for my help.
Two months after my SSLC exam, I got my first job at 15 as a full-stack developer intern. At 16 I joined my second company. At 18, I worked with a Europe-based e-commerce brand as Chief Technical Officer. Today, I’ve stepped away from every job to focus fully on building my own ventures.
I now mentor over 100+ students in coding and game development and run two startups — a game studio called KeyOfTrios and a software & mentorship platform called Devdopz. I didn’t change my past. I changed my direction.
Why Devdopz Exists
Most students feel lost because nobody shows them a simple roadmap. Devdopz was built to give students the clarity I never had — honest, simple and skill-focused.
Direction
Clear roadmap, zero confusion.
Discipline
Daily action over motivation.
Skills
Ability matters more than certificates.
